Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Interfaces for Web-scale and large-scale data repositories search and exploration
• Linked Data visualization and exploration
• Taxonomies and ontologies for data visualization
• Lightweight (semantic) metadata or knowledge integration
• Conceptual models for data visualization and exploration
• Data visualization for next-generation mobile devices
• Studies on quality, usability, effectiveness of data visualization techniques
• Innovative uses of tag clouds
• Ambient information displays
• Data visualization for large screens and interactive tablets
• Augmented reality and cross-media interfaces
• Visualisations for multimodal interaction
• Tools for Web and Enterprises data visualizations
• Applications: Search, Semantic Web, Social Web and Web 2.0, Adaptive and personalized Web applications, SaaS, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Enterprise 2.0
Submission guidelines
Papers should explore open research problems, as well as provide advances in the areas of workshop's core topic. Papers submitted to DATAVIeW ‘10 must not have been accepted for publication elsewhere or be under review for another workshop or conference. All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three PC members.
Papers must be in English and may be submitted as:
• Full Papers (10 pages)
• Short Papers (5 pages)
• Position Statements (3 pages)
The final proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag as LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science). Author instructions can be found at: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
Failure to comply with the above formatting instructions for submitted papers will lead to the outright rejection of the paper without review. Failure to commit to presentation at the conference automatically excludes a paper from the proceedings.
